This course is designed for learners who have completed B2.1 and want to reach a confident B2 level, fully prepared to take the official Staatsexamen II. Over 12 weeks, you will develop all core skills — reading, grammar, listening, writing, and speaking — with each theme studied over two weeks, including 12 speaking lessons.

The course covers practical and socially relevant topics: Dutch holidays and traditions, study and education, taxes, safety, politics, and global countries. A major focus is mastering the versatile Dutch adverb “er” in all its functions: location, quantity, prepositional combinations, provisional or indefinite subjects, and as the subject in passive sentences, reinforced with a comprehensive test.

By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate fluently and accurately in a wide range of complex situations, discuss opinions and societal topics, understand formal texts and speeches, and confidently take the Staatsexamen II.
